Just make sure you allow enough room to cater for the roots of the plants, and for sufficient drainage. And with their low-maintenance needs and readiness to propagate, they’re easy to care for. If you are planting cacti in containers, it is recommended that you use a fertilizer that is high in nitrogen and phosphorus.
You can mix sand, gravel or volcanic rock into your container planting mix. With a nearly infinite number of varieties, succulent growing can keep even the most avid grower and collector interested. When planting in the garden, make sure the area is not in a low place that will get wet. Little ones also receive a book to take home. Others are very sensitive to cold so in cool areas, check before you buy.
